Bikaner, the castle of royalty and tradition was built in the 15th century and was founded by Rao Bikaji after whom the city was named as Bikaner. It is situated in the core of the desert. Lalgarh Palace: It was constructed by Maharaja Ganga Singh in the recollection of the father. Its building has suspended balconies. A portion of it has been malformed into a hotel by Rajasthan Tourism Development.

Junagarh Fort: It was constructed by Late Raja Rai Singh in the year 1593. It is surrounded by the walls of about 986 mts and two entrance gates. Its fort and palaces are festooned by carving stones. It lies 700 feet above sea level. The fort comprises of many mahals and havelis like Phool Mahal, Rang Mahal, Ganaga Mahal and so on.

Deshnok Temple: It is dedicated to a manifestation of Goddess Durga, Karni Mata. It is situated in the south of Bikaner in Deshnok village. It is famous for thousand of rats, who reside there only. There is a myth that if we saw a white rat than it is lucky for us.
