Itinerary Details

Day 01: Delhi Arrival
Arrive at Delhi and spend the day leisurely in your hotel

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
Visit the famous tourist destinations at new Delhi and old Delhi such as lotus templeQutub MinarRed fort & Jama Masjid.

Day 03: Delhi- Mandawa(Shekhwati)
Take a trip to mandawa and visit the painted havelies of the Dundlod town and castle mandawa.

Day 04: Mandawa- Bikaner
Hop on over to Bikaner and visit the regal Junagarh Fort.

Day 05: Bikaner-khimsar
Go to khimsar to visit the famous rat temple and also visit the Nagaur fort

A normal human being will be absolutely scared over the thought, of the number of rats (They look like rats, but actually aren’t) that are in the temple. However, the outstanding fact is that, these Kabas are harmless and play around in the temple without disturbing the devotees. Rather they sit on devotees’ laps, shoulders, hands and head which the devotees think to be of divine spirit and blessings of the Goddess. The magnificence of these Kabas is that, despite being innumerable, they never go out of the temple’s boundaries. The miraculous fact is that no disease relating to rats has ever been found in Deshnoke till date. Neither the temple stinks of foul smells nor it is dirty anywhere.

Later visit the Nagaur Fort. The Nagaur is famous for the second largest cattle fair in India held every year during the Hindu month of Magh (Jan-Feb) whose basic purpose is cattle trading. Later visit theAfter reaching Khimsar check in at hotel to stay overnight.

Day 06: Khimsar sand dunes Village
This morning after breakfast visit Khimsar Fort. The Khimsar Fort on the edge of the great Thar Desert is one of the main attractions in Khimsar. This afternoon excursion to Khimsar Dunes village and enjoy a camel safari visit nearby hutments to witness the lifestyles of rural folk. Enjoy a sunset tea or bonfire dinner. Overnight in Khimsar Dunes Village.

Day 07: Khimsar- Jodhpur
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the Blue City of Jodhpur. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Jodhpur-Narlai
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Narlai – situated in an ancient dwelling at the foot of a hill, dotted with caves and temples. Check in at hotel Rawla Narlai. One can go for quiet walks from here and also visit the local bazaar. Close to Narlai is an ancient temple where a miraculous flame has been burning for centuries and giving off saffron instead of black soot. An interesting horse safari or even camel and jeep safaris can be arranged with the hotel

Day 09: Narlai-Deogarh
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Deogarh and check in at hotel Deogarh Mahal. Deogarh Mahal was converted into a hotel by the present owner Rawat Nahar Singh. The family is closely associated with the hotel and personally supervises and monitors the on goings. The care is reflected in the minutest details which have made Deogarh a benchmark of Heritage Hospitality in Rajasthan. Every guest here is special and is treated with the customary Mewari hospitality. There are so many activities you can indulge in while in Deogarh. You can request for Rural Ramble – a Jeep drive into the countryside with an escort, or romantic horse-carriage ride, a guided walk through the village, boating on the lake, Bird watching (near the lakes) with an expert, relaxing massage by expert Ayurvedic masseurs from Kerala, ride in vintage cars (1962 Jaguar S Type, 1942 GI Jeep, 1938 Chevrolet) or to hire a motorcycle for a trip in the countryside.

Day 10: Deogarh-Roopnagarh
Go to Roopangarh and in between stop at Ajmer to visit the dargah Khwaja sahib. On reaching Roopangarh stay at the Roopangarh fort

Day 11: Roopnagarh- Kuchaman
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Kunchaman and check in at Hotel Kunchaman Fort. The Kuchaman Fort was converted into a heritage hotel. The Fort’s formidable ramparts, innumerable terraces, balconies, and viewing points along with its rich and interesting history, makes it a great holiday destination with a difference. The views are spectacular since the hotel rises some 1000 feet from the entrance with several levels.

The view at night of the lit-up city and the Aravalli hills is enchanting. You can visit the Meena Bazaar, within the fort complex, where the Kuchamani folk artists and crafts persons have stalls selling exquisitely made handicrafts. The fort also houses a museum of weapons and armour. A major part of the collection is in gold or silver with floral and geometrical motifs. The hall of the palace houses the beautiful miniature paintings, murals and gilded work.

Day 12: Kuchaman-Samode
This morning, drive to Samode. Upon arrival, Check in the hotel. Relax and set out on tours to the places of tourist interest located in Samode. Stay overnight at the heritage hotel in Samode.

Day 13: Samode
Today day is free to explore the samode village. Stay overnight at samode

Day 14: Samode-Neemrana
Drive to neemana and stay at the neemana fort the tour ends here and in the evening drive back to Delhi.

Day 15: Neemrana –Delhi- Departure- Tour ends
Rajasthan Village tour comes to end. Transfer to Delhi airport.All this travel can be done easily via the car rental and cab services in Jaipur
