Primarily, Real name of Abhaneri was Abha Nagri that means the city of effulgence. It is nearly about 95 kms distance from the city. This vintage well is comprised of 3500 narrow steps with more than 13 stories. This well is lengthen 30 ms from the ground, which is now one of the largest and deepest stepwells in India. It was built between 800 AD and 900 AD in the period of King Chandra of the Chauhan Dynasty.

Sisodia Rani Garden
Sisodia Rani Garden and Palace is situated about 6 Kms distant from the city It was constructed in 1728 by the Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Lots of people come here to visit and enjoy the astonishing beauty of a Lovely garden. It is comprised of water streams, fountains and colorful gazebos.
This garden and palace was built and dedicated to a queen who ruled the province of Mewar. She belongs to the Sisodia area of Suryavanshi Rajputs. Sisodia Palace is placed on the top of the garden. Galta Monkey Temple

The temple has 7 holy kunds and Galta Kund is one of the most divine among them. This kund is always filled with water, which never gets dry. This divine temple is always surrounded by the lots of monkeys. These monkeys are the permanent inhabitants of this temple. Therefore, it is also known as Galta Monkey Temple.

Govind Dev Ji Temple
Govind Dev Ji Temple is placed in the City Palace complex.which is dedicated to the Lord Krishna. It is one among the most popular seven temples of Krishna of Vrindavan i.e. Shri Bankey Bihari Ji, Shri Govind Dev Ji, Sri Radhavallabh Ji and more. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II brought the Krishna statue here from the Vrindavan. It was built by the famous Mughal emperor Akbar.
